This policy describes how PromptStick handles your personal data when you use our AI prompt generation platform at promptstick.com. By using PromptStick you agree to this policy.
What We Collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, and profile picture. We also store the prompts you generate, folders you create, and your credit usage - so the platform can work. Standard server logs (IP, browser type, timestamps) are collected automatically for security and debugging.
How We Use It
Your data powers PromptStick: generating AI prompts, saving your work, and tracking your credit balance. Aggregated, anonymous usage patterns help us improve the product. We do not use your prompt content to train AI models, and we do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
Who Sees It
We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that run PromptStick: Google (sign-in), OpenAI (prompt generation - your inputs are sent to their API), Neon (database hosting), and Cloudflare (infrastructure). Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Email us at support@promptstick.com.
Data Retention
We retain your saved prompts and account information as long as your account is active, or until you explicitly request its deletion. If you delete your account, all personal data linked to your identity is permanently wiped from our Neon databases within 30 days.
Security
All data travels over HTTPS. Database connections are encrypted. Sessions are server-managed with short-lived tokens. API keys are stored as environment variables and never exposed to the client.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date below and notify you via email or an in-app banner. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
